Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Jennifer Lopez and Emma Stone will all say ‘I do’ – but later: celebrity weddings on hold due to Covid-19

As governments enforce stay-at-home orders amid the outbreak, these celebrities are doing the right thing by postponing their weddings until they can safely celebrate with their friends and families
Celebrity couples who are set to tie the knot this year have decided to put on hold their weddings until after the coronavirus outbreak.
While it’s inconvenient to reconsider and change their wedding plans, the decision to delay their ceremonies sends a clear message to the public: they are taking the outbreak seriously, following the government’s directive on social distancing, and are prioritising health over personal needs.
Here are five celebrity couples who have called off their wedding day and here’s how they are responding to the situation.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom
The couple made headlines when they announced they were expecting their first child together. According to a source close to Perry and Bloom, they were ready to tie the knot in Japan early this summer.
“It was all set for Japan with 150 guests. Katy was actually really excited about walking down the aisle pregnant,” the source told People. “They were both elated that all the wedding details were finally coming together, but they are hitting pause because of coronavirus.”
Emma Stone and David McCary
Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone and Saturday Night Live writer, segment producer and comedian David McCary postponed their wedding in Los Angeles last March. McCary announced their engagement on Instagram last December with a photo of them snuggling together and Emma showing off her diamond ring.
