Secret Number are the United Nations of the K-pop world as its Hallyu stars come from all over the globe
The appeal of K-pop is no longer limited to just Korea or Asia – it is fast becoming a global pop genre made up of stars from all over the world. One of the newest groups to have made their debut is Secret Number: they’ve caused a stir thanks to their unique background and charismatic members.
The five members of Secret Number are none other than Lea, Dita, Jinny, Denise and SooDam. They were all born in different countries but despite their differences, they’ve come together to demonstrate absolute teamwork and synergy in their songs and dance routines.
Two members are from the YG Entertainment stable
Jinny was a well-known trainee at YG Entertainment thanks to her appearance on TV music channel Mnet’s hit reality show Produce 48. She was born in California and is the group’s main rapper.
Denise, who comes from Texas, is another trainee who used to be under YG Entertainment. She began her training under the agency after making an impact with her audition on SBS’ K-pop Star season 5.
