STYLE Edit: French luxury jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels has us falling in love with its new Frivole flower power collection

This year, Van Cleef & Arpels has enriched its Frivole collection with eight new creations, including a bracelet and two secret watches.

Floral motifs have been at the heart of Van Cleef & Arpels’ creative tradition for over a century now. Right from daisies and cherry blossoms to lily-of-the-valley and poppies, the maison’s poetic garden is full of bejewelled blooms in various collections.

This year, Van Cleef & Arpels has enriched its Frivole collection with eight new creations, including a bracelet and two secret watches.

One of the highlights of this line is the Between the Finger ring, a whimsical design synonymous with the maison. Crafted out of white gold and complemented with a sprinkle of diamonds, this versatile ring is reflective of the maison’s dynamic sensibilities.

Then there is the seven-flower bracelet in yellow gold. Adorned with corollas in different sizes, it is a tribute to the vitality of nature.

This is also the first time the maison has used rose gold and pink sapphires to adorn Frivole creations. At the centre of a pair of earrings and a pendant in warm hues, a pink sapphire is lit up by diamond-set petals. The heart-shaped petals are mirror polished for an accentuated brilliance.

Van Cleef & Arpels has long drawn on nature as an eternal source of inspiration, translating all the delicacy and vitality of flora into jewels.
