  • The new website’s launch follows luxury travel agency Virtuoso’s ban of Trump hotels and resorts, and Trump’s suspension from Twitter and other social media
  • Visitors can send rants and raves about his time in office – from his Covid-19 response to international diplomacy – through the ‘share your thoughts’ section

Donald Trump has faced plenty of backlash lately, from getting suspended on Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites to his businesses tanking. First, Trump International Hotel took the full brunt of Trump’s electoral defeat, followed by 10 Trump hotels and resorts getting banned by luxury travel agency Virtuoso. But despite the difficulties, Trump isn’t ceasing to toot his own horn.

Enter the website 45office.com, which frames Trump as “the first true outsider elected as president of the United States”. The platform will connect Trump with his supporters, allowing members to book him and his wife Melania for appearances at events and even request greetings from them.

The homepage shows off Trump’s pictures with his wife Melania, members of the military and world leaders, taken at multiple events during his time as president.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, you can find out more about Trump in the website’s “about” section – which paints a pretty picture of the former president’s shenanigans, of course. The rambling, 850-word description outlines his many apparent achievements throughout his time in office, from energy and border security to strengthening NATO and other international alliances to his widely criticised response to the coronavirus pandemic.

And what about Melania? She features further down on the “about” page, where a somewhat shorter passage charts her journey from Slovenia to the US, as well as her philanthropic work. The description also mentions her time as First Lady, briefly discussing the international trips she took and the foreign diplomats she met.
