Valentino designs costumes for opera performance in Rome

: It's possibly the best-dressed La Traviata production we've ever seen with Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti working in collaboration with the prestigious Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. Valentino's creative directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, designed the costumes for Flora and for the chorus while Violetta's costumes were designed and crafted in Valentino's atelier. Famous filmmaker Sofia Coppola made her debut as a lyrical opera director for the show which ran for 15 performances until June 30. Celebrities including Keira Knightley, Monica Bellucci and Luke Evans attended the event.
