CHIC CHAT with Jean-Christophe Babin

Can you tell us what the inspiration was for the latest high-jewellery collection?

We put a spin on the serpent motif. It's a very historical motif - one of the foundations of Bulgari.

How do you reinterpret the classic design?

Before the focus was more on the body of the snake, this collection we opened up to other aspects.

Why did Bulgari decide to restore the Spanish Steps?

Because Sotirio Bulgari walked past the steps every day when he moved from the Via dei Condotti store to the Via Sistina store.

Will you commit to more restoration projects in

the future?

Yes. We are very dedicated to keep contributing to the cause.
