Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts throws lavish ball to raise funds

Themed Art Decodance, this year’s Academy Ball was inspired by art-deco-era movie sets. More than 400 guests attended the stellar charity event to raise scholarship funds for the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

The academy’s music students performed Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue to open the event. Nine distinguished guests including Emily Chang, Sabrina Ho and Wendy Yu modelled Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces on stage.
