Head of watchmaking at LVMH Jean-Claude Biver is now interim CEO of Zenith

Jean-Claude Biver

In a surprise announcement last week on January 4, Jean-Claude Biver, head of watchmaking at LVMH, has revealed his new role as interim CEO of Zenith. He replaces outgoing CEO Aldo Magada.

In an exclusive interview, Biver talks to STYLE about his new role as interim CEO, what he is looking for in his future replacement, and his vision for Zenith.

Biver is well known in the watchmaking industry for having the Midas touch; Blancpain, Omega, Hublot and TAG Heuer have all felt the effects of his lucrative touch as each brand has gone from strength to strength.

The latest example is TAG Heuer, which last year enjoyed its best year since 1860 – the year it was founded. Perhaps now, as interim CEO, Biver can add Zenith to that list of success stories.
