Stella McCartney shows Autumn 2017 collection at Cotton Club in New York
Designer Stella McCartney’s celebrity pals showed up in full force for the launch of her Autumn 2017 collection. The star-studded crowd included Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jeff Koons, Sean Lennon, Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld, and Ryan McGinley, to name a few.
With the Cotton Club in Harlem also celebrating its 40th anniversary this month, it’s no surprise that the party vibe was off the charts.
Alicia Keys thrilled guests with a surprise musical performance, singing crowd favourites such as Empire State of Mind and Pawn It All.
Models showed off the collection’s 20 looks, which stayed true to the designer’s commitment to sustainable fashion – featuring Fur Free Fur, sustainable wood, cork and viscose, regenerated cashmere, as well as eco alter nappa and suede.
