Fendi invites Hong Kong celebs to create their own Peekaboo purses for charity

Yung chooses a phoenix pattern for her bag, while Tsai opts for a Venetian mask and a sparkly strap

Celebrities such as Canto-pop diva Joey Yung and Jolin Tsai from Taiwan have used their stardom for a good cause. Luxury Italian fashion label Fendi invited the guests to create their own versions of the iconic Peekaboo purse as part of a charity auction.

Yung, for example, chose a phoenix pattern for her bag, while Tsai opted for a Venetian mask and a sparkly strap. The bags will be auctioned on Fendi’s website. Proceeds will benefit the Hong Kong Cancer Fund chosen by Yung and the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) chosen by Tsai.

Apart from the two new bags that are included in the Peekaboo Project, previous creations designed by Olympic medallist Guo Jingjing, singer Adele, TV presenter Yang Lan were also on display at the exhibition. Celebrities and socialites including Hilary Tsui, Kathy Chow, Anina Ho and Yen Kuok turned out to support the cause.
