Vin Diesel tops Forbes list of highest-grossing actors of 2017
Diesel is followed by Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot in top 10
Forbes has released its annual list of the top-grossing actors of 2017, and Vin Diesel is wearing the crown. Diesel, who grossed US$1.6 billion, has benefited from The Fast and the Furious franchise and its massively successful eighth instalment, The Fate of the Furious. The film raked in US$1.2 billion at the box office following its April release, adding to Diesel’s totals for xXx: The Return of Xander.
Diesel’s The Fate of the Furious co-star Dwayne Johnson took second spot with $1.5 billion in global ticket sales, followed by Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot, who grossed US$1.4 billion.
