Chinese singer-actor Kris Wu performs at Super Bowl LIVE

Kris Wu is surely making an international breakthrough. After starring in Hollywood productions of xXx: Return of Xander Cage, and Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets, Wu is also making headlines with his chart-topping EPs – Deserve hit No 1 on US iTunes and rose to number 12 on Billboard.

Wu came to the spotlight again over the weekend when he performed at Super Bowl LIVE concert in Minneapolis as a Super Bowl ambassador and the first Chinese artist to perform at the event. Some of Wu’s fans queued up for three hours to watch him perform.

 

Although Wu was not part of the acts for Super Bowl’s halftime show – Justin Timberlake wowed the crowd – Wu’s experience attending the Super Bowl will be streamed online in China by Tencent Sports.

On Wu’s Instagram, the pop star thanked his fans who turned out to support him at the concert. The short video has since garnered almost 500,000 views.
