Second round of 2018’s official cherry blossom forecast for tourists shows trees across nation should start to flower from March 20 through until end of April

The time has come to start planning your photographic tour beside the famed cherry blossom trees of Japan. 

The second round of 2018’s official cherry blossom forecast has been released, with estimated dates for the first flowering and full bloom of cherry blossom trees across Japan.

If you fancy a flower tour, start in Tokyo – the earliest flowering there will begin on March 20. 
Head over to Yokohama for March 24, then go to Kyoto the next week to catch the flowering on March 27 and end your grand tour in Hokkaido, where the blossoms will be making their first appearance by April 30.
