Designer Raf Simons and Supreme win top honours at CFDA Fashion Awards

Kim Kardashian, Ralph Lauren and Naomi Campbell also honoured at Council of Fashion Designers of America event – the industry’s answer to the Oscars
Designers Raf Simons and the streetwear label Supreme have won top honours at the annual Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awards.
The CFDA awards are fashion’s answer to the Oscars, and a slew of celebrities were on hand at Monday’s ceremony at the Brooklyn Museum.
Television actress Issa Rae hosted the event, and actress Blanchett and television host Trevor Noah were among the presenters. Simons, of Calvin Klein, won for womenswear, and skating line Supreme for menswear.
A highlight of the evening was the appearance of Kim Kardashian, who was given a special fashion influencer award.
