Moynat celebrates pop-up store with exclusive dinner

EVENT: Moynat’s Ephemeral Gallery opening cocktail and private dinner

Happenings: Luxury French trunk maker Moynat celebrated the launch of its pop-up store at Pacific Place last week. The brand’s CEO, Guillaume Davin, and creative director, Ramesh Nair, flew in from Paris to meet Hong Kong’s VIPs.

The pop-up store features the Mini Pyramid, exclusive to the retail concept. The pyramid-shaped mini bag, inspired by the Louvre Pyramid, showcases the maison’s savoir-faire. Celebrities and socialites including Hilary Tsui, Victoria Tang and Ivan Pun were spotted at the in-store cocktail.

The fashionista crowd enjoyed a private dinner after the cocktail at the yet to be opened Old Bailey restaurant. The restaurant is in the newly restored Tai Kwun heritage building. Yenn Wong, owner Old Bailey, hosted the exclusive dinner.
