Benedict Cumberbatch steals the spotlight at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Venetian dinner

Happenings: Having been an official partner of the Venice International Film Festival for 14 years, Jaeger-LeCoultre hosted a lavish dinner to celebrate the festival and the brand’s savoir-faire. The dinner was attended by some 80 guests from around the world, including British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who is also the brand’s ambassador, and South Korean actor Lee Byung-hun, who has recently starred in the television series Mr. Sunshine.

Both internationally famed actors wore timepieces from the brand’s Polaris collection. Lee wore the Polaris Chronograph in pink gold and Cumberbatch showcased the limited-edition Polaris Memovox. The philanthropic Letters Live performance by Cumberbatch added a magical touch to the event. The actor artistically interpreted and performed readings of historical letters on stage to promote the power of literacy.
