Happenings: Luxury fashion powerhouse Louis Vuitton kick-started its “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” exhibition at the Shanghai Exhibition Center with a guest list populated with international superstars.
Louis Vuitton’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière was there, along with English actress Sophie Turner, Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, French actress Léa Seydoux, American rapper Jaden Smith, American singer and actor Joe Jonas, and Chinese-Canadian actor, singer, and model Kris Wu.
Hong Kong actress Maggie Cheung, Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang, Chinese actress Zhong Chuxi, Chinese actress and singer Tang Yan, Chinese actress Chun Xia, Chinese fashion model and actress Du Juan, Taiwanese-Canadian actress and singer Karena Lam, Chinese actor Zhu Yilong, Chinese actor Liu Haoran and former Japanese soccer player Hidetoshi Nakata also made an appearance.
The exhibition showcases around 1,000 works from the maison’s archives and articles from the Palais Galliea and the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris.
