A recent example of this is a picture of the UK’s former football star David Beckham, who can be seen enjoying a nap with his dog, Olive, who is wrapped in a chic Louis Vuitton blanket.
The photograph, which has now gone viral with over a million likes, was posted on Instagram by Beckham’s wife, Victoria, with the caption, “Afternoon nap with her daddy @davidbeckham #Olivebeckham x kisses x VB.”
While Beckham can be seen in a sweet slumber, it isn’t exactly his cuteness that caught the eye of fans.
What had the internet breaking was the luxury Louis Vuitton blanket (from the brand’s sought-after, instantly-sold-out collaboration with cult streetwear brand Supreme) that was wrapped around the puppy.
While most Instagrammers expressed appreciation, some passed cheeky remarks while others went into a virtual rage of sorts.
One commented, “That blanket is worth more than I need for a house deposit”, while another posted, “I’m spoilt but not LV blanket spoilt”.
