Korean actor Lee Dong-wook is the face of Boy de Chanel

Chanel’s first make-up collection for men is a sleek and masculine range
Whoever said beauty is gender-driven got it wrong, and Chanel can attest to that with a new make-up collection targeted at men.
The Boy de Chanel collection is made for the style-savvy, street-chic man who has his beauty essentials down pat. What you can expect from this range is sleek and masculine – from the midnight blue packaging to the textures and formulas of each product.

The Boy de Chanel comprises brow pencils, foundation, and a lip balm. The Le Stylo Sourcils Eyebrow Pencil comes with a spiral brush on one end and a retractable, tapered tip on the other, and is waterproof, comfortable and stays on for eight hours, thanks to emollient oils in the formula. Best part? It comes in four shades so you do not have to worry about matching your brow shade with your hair colour.

The Le Teint Foundation is one to add to your collection for good reason, given Chanel’s impeccable track record when it comes to foundations. Soft focus powders in the formula help to correct imperfections with a sheer finish, and it has SPF 25 sunscreen to protect skin from the harmful effects of the sun. The texture is fluid and lightweight, and it has hyaluronic acid to keep your skin comfortable all day long. We were extremely impressed with the sound of the new Matte Moisturizing Lip Balm – how does it nourish and soften lips without leaving them shiny?

What is making our hearts beat faster than usual is the new face of Boy de Chanel: actor Lee Dong-wook, the first Korean to represent Chanel for a campaign of this scale. Below, scroll through all the visuals for some behind-the-scenes action:
