5 things we know about Emma Corrin, The Crown’s Princess Diana

Newcomer Emma Corrin will play Diana in the fourth series of The Crown, the wildly popular Netflix series. Here’s what we know about the young actress
Producers of Netflix’s dramatic The Crown generated some drama of their own when they revealed that the character of Princess Diana will appear in season four of the series about Elizabeth II.
On April 11, social media posts announced that Emma Corrin is to play Lady Diana Spencer. Incredibly, the producers have cast a relatively unknown actress in the iconic role.
Corrin, 23, was born just two years before the “People’s Princess” died from injuries sustained in a car crash in 1997.
Corrin seemed overwhelmed when she took to social media to react to the immense tabloid response that followed the announcement.
We assume she will be performing opposite Josh O’Connor, the actor who plays the young Prince Charles. O’Connor was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star award in 2018.
Here’s what we know about Corrin so far.
