Milan Fashion Week: whimsical Prada ‘joins the army’ for its show

HAPPENINGS: Prada hosted a two-day event for its private club members during Hong Kong Art Basel. Prada Mode Hong Kong included a special set-up of the Prada Invites project and Dolls’ House, an installation by photographer Jamie Diamond curated by Germano Celant. There were also conversations on various themes.

On the first day, there was a party with DJ sets by Acyde, Fraser Cooke, Mimi Xu and Yasmina Dexter. The second day featured Diamond who talked about gender, role-playing, surrogacy, the mother-child relationship, and how photography can create personal fiction. A private dinner was also hosted in honour of Diamond and Celant to celebrate Prada Mode Hong Kong, followed by a closing party with music by the same DJs from the previous night.
