Celebrity bridal designer Vera Wang consistently gets praised for her eternally youthful appearance at age 74. So much so that fans have even mistaken her 30-plus-year-old daughters for her sisters.
In a recent post celebrating her daughter Josephine Becker’s 30th birthday, on September 19, netizens flooded the comments section with notes about how they look like “twins” and have “amazing genes”. Wang has two adopted kids, Cecilia and Josephine Becker, who she calls Cesi and Jo, from her marriage to property developer Arthur Becker.

According to The List, Cecilia was born in 1990 and Josephine was born in 1993.
Wang was married at the time to Arthur Becker. The couple split amicably in 2012, with Wang remaining extremely close with her daughters. The four have also been pictured together as a family in recent years.

The List reports that the girls grew up in a flat just across from their mother’s childhood home in Manhattan. Wang has also had houses in Paris and California, with the wedding guru telling Harper’s Bazaar that she wouldn’t leave the Big Apple and that Cali was the “yin to [her] New York yang”.

According to Cecilia’s interview with Teen Vogue, she’s never taken it for granted.
“When I was three, my mum made a wedding dress for my Halloween costume – I didn’t take it off for days,” she said. “I knew there was something different about my family when my sister and I got to model in her runway shows as kids.”

She tells me to work hard at school and keep my options open so I can find my own passion in life. So the next time your mom is being annoying, cut her some slack,” Cecilia told Seventeen magazine back in 2007.

According to Cecilia’s Instagram bio, she runs an interiors business, though the page hasn’t had any posts in the last year. Josephine has remained much more tight-lipped over the years, but it was revealed in 2016 that she’s definitely a smart cookie, considering she was studying at Harvard University.
