He’s a renowned actor, director, screenwriter and producer, but for the past two years, Liev Schreiber, 56, has also cemented his roots in humanitarian work with his start-up, BlueCheck Ukraine. The organisation vets and directs financial support into the hands of NGOs and aid groups in Ukraine.

Supporting his advocacy role is his wife, Taylor Neisen, 32. The former beauty queen was first linked to Schreiber in 2017, and last year the couple not only got married but also welcomed their first child together. Here’s what you need to know about the younger woman by Schreiber’s side.

In 2017, a year after Schreiber officially split from his partner of 11 years, Naomi Watts, rumours about his relationship with Neisen began swirling after they were spotted out together several times. They were later snapped on a family holiday in Costa Rica but kept their romance out of the spotlight.

In July 2023, the couple were married in a quiet ceremony at their home in the Hamptons, on New York’s Long Island. Per British media, there were just four guests at the ceremony, including the groom’s two children he shares with Watts, Kai Schreiber and Sasha Schreiber. Neisen gave birth to daughter Hazel Bee the following month.

According to People, Schreiber and Watts have remained friends after their split and are committed to co-parenting amicably. And apparently, Neisen also gets along well with her husband’s former partner.

In January 2018 Schreiber told host Willie Geist on Sunday Today that he and Watts would always “be partners”, adding, “We also genuinely care about each other, and it’s important to support each other.”

In June 2022, while celebrating Kai’s middle school graduation, Watts posted a picture that included Neisen with the caption “Congratulations to Kai. Class of 2022 #modernfamily #graduation”.
