Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace’s modern Western series Landman has concluded its second season, and fans are already looking forward to the next instalment.

In the season finale, Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris starts his own company, CTT Oil Exploration and Cattle, after Demi Moore’s Cami Miller sends him packing from M-Tex. The new family-led venture, with Tommy’s son Cooper (Jacob Lofland) as president, is backed by cartel leader Danny Morrell, aka Gallino (Andy Garcia), whose wife Bella (Stefania Spampinato) has been striking up a friendship with Tommy’s wife Angela (Ali Larter).

The oil drama, inspired by the Boomtown podcast, was renewed for season three in December last year.

Of all the new characters introduced in season two – including Tommy’s father TL (Sam Elliott), exotic dancer-turned-physical therapist Cheyenne (Francesca Xuereb), and Bella – fans are seemingly most excited about what the latter will bring to the show next.

So who is Stefania Spampinato? Here’s what to know.

Stefania Spampinato, 43, hails from the Sicilian city of Catania, and grew up in a small town at the base of Mount Etna called Belpasso. Last year she released the photobook From Rio to Sicily, in collaboration with Brazilian photographer Leco Moura.

At the age of six, Spampinato gravitated towards dancing. Her mother made her costumes by hand and later did the same for her schoolmates, per Voyage LA magazine. “The person who I owe everything to is my mom,” the actress told the outlet. “She will always be my idol and role model.”
