Meet Lorde’s rumoured boyfriend, Jim-E Stack, who worked with her on her Virgin album

The ‘Solar Power’ singer and her beau were seen at Justin Bieber’s Grammys after-party and at another bash for Charli XCX’s new film, The Moment
Lorde was just spotted out and about with her rumoured boyfriend, Jim-E Stack.
The 29-year-old “Solar Power” singer and Stack, a 34-year-old music producer and songwriter who worked on Lorde’s Virgin album, have been sparking romance speculations since she performed at Glastonbury last June, where the duo were reportedly spotted cuddling, according to the Daily Mail.

That same month, Stack’s ex-girlfriend, singer Kacy Hill, seemingly called him out for breaking up with her after working with Lorde. “Let’s hear it for the man who ended a 6.5-year relationship while making a girl’s album, then started dating her,” Hill captioned a TikTok video using one of Lorde’s songs, “Man of the Year”, which Stack co-wrote.
Here’s everything you need to know about Lorde’s rumoured beau.
Jim-E Stack started out as a drummer

James Harmon Stack was born in January 1992, in San Francisco. He began his musical journey when he started playing the drums at 11 years old, per Elle. One day after school, the producer began making beats on his friend’s computer. “My beats were some collision of rap and grime,” he told Fader in 2014, describing his early works. “I was doing whatever came into mind. That’s kind of the beauty of it: there was no vision whatsoever.”
He’s worked with big names in the industry
