She comes from a famous family
Dree Louise Hemingway Crisman, who was born in December 1987, hails from Sun Valley, Idaho. Her father is filmmaker Stephen Crisman, and her mother is actress Mariel Hemingway, whose paternal grandfather was acclaimed novelist Ernest Hemingway. Actress Langley Fox is her sister, and supermodel and actress Margaux Hemingway was her aunt.
Growing up in Ketchum, Idaho, Hemingway attended Ernest Hemingway Elementary School before transferring to Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California.
Regarding her nepo baby status, the 38-year-old told Smashing Interviews Magazine, “I definitely put more pressure on myself for having the Hemingway last name to prove myself to others as well, as me personally, that I am more than just this member of a historic family.”
