Before working with Taylor Sheridan, Marshall-Green appeared on Law & order, The O.C. and Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That … – but theatre is his first love

Created by Spencer Hudnut, Marshals, the latest Yellowstone spin-off, stars actor Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, youngest son of rancher John Dutton (Kevin Costner), and Logan Marshall-Green, who plays Pete “Cal” Calvin, the leader of an elite team of US Marshals.

In the show’s premiere, which aired on March 1, we see Kayce leave behind ranch life following the tragic death of his wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille), after receiving the offer to join the team of Marshals led by Cal, a friend from Kayce’s Navy Seal days.

Garnering over 20 million multiplatform viewers in its first week, the show was immediately renewed for a second season after just two episodes. He comes from a family of educators

Logan Marshall-Green was born in November 1976 to a family of teachers and actors. His mother, Lowry Marshall, has been teaching theatre for over two decades at Brown University, per Broadway news website TheaterMania, and is the artistic director of the university’s repertory theatre department. His father is also a drama teacher.

Marshall-Green graduated with a master's degree in fine arts from the Tisch School of Arts’ graduate acting programme, and made his on-screen acting debut in 2003 in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The 49-year-old has since starred in various projects including The O.C. and the Sex and the City sequel, And Just Like That … opposite Sarah Jessica Parker.
