Meet Robin Dearden, wife of Malcolm in the Middle and Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston

Cranston is reprising his role as Hal in Hulu’s Malcolm in the Middle reboot, and just attended the Olivier Awards with Dearden – they are also the parents of The Pitt’s Taylor Dearden
The highly anticipated Olivier Awards 2026, the UK’s answer to the Tony Awards that took place on April 12 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, was a star-studded affair.
Cranston is known for playing Walter White in the crime drama Breaking Bad (2008-2013) and lovable dad Hal in the 2000s teen sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. The latter has a new reboot titled Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, which premiered on Hulu and Disney+ on April 10.
While promoting the reboot earlier this month with Muniz in an episode of the YouTube series Hot Ones Versus, which features celebrities answering difficult questions and partaking in hot sauce eating challenges, Cranston went viral for defending his wife on Breaking Bad, Skyler (Anna Gunn).
Muniz declared he “wanted to kill” the character, and in response, Cranston shot back: “Her husband leaves without any explanation, she’s pregnant, he’s making crystal methamphetamine, and people have died – and she’s the b****?”
Here, we take a look at everything you need to know about Dearden.
