The Puerto Rican actress originally auditioned for the role of Maddy, played by Alexa Demie, before landing the show with Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi

After a four-year hiatus, Euphoria is finally back on our screens with its highly anticipated third season and the return of its star-studded cast, including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie and Jacob Elordi.
Premiering on April 12, with episodes rolling out weekly on HBO Max, the new instalment follows the show’s central characters five years after high school ended and introduces several new cast members, including Priscilla Delgado.

Delgado stars as Angel, a stripper at the club Zendaya’s character Rue works at. The first two episodes of the season introduce her as a romantic partner for Rue, but fans aren’t too optimistic about Angel’s fate after the show’s second episode ended with an ominous scene in which she tells Rue, “More people go missing [in California] than anywhere else in America,” right before she gets dropped off at a sketchy rehab centre.

As fans eagerly await the show’s remaining episodes, here’s what to know about the newcomer to Euphoria.

She always knew she wanted to act

Delgado was born in March 2002 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to a Puerto Rican mother and a Spanish father. In an interview with Metal magazine, she revealed she’d always known she wanted to act. “There wasn’t a specific moment when I realised it or when I watched a film and thought, ‘This is what I want to do.’ It all came very naturally to me, from early on,” she explained.

The 24-year-old has been acting since the age of seven, when she made her debut in an episode of the 2009 show, La Chica de Ayer (Yesterday’s Girl), a Spanish-language remake of the hit British sci-fi series Life on Mars.

The actress went on to star in various Spanish-language TV shows and films. She moved to the US to finish high school and eventually to LA to pursue a career in Hollywood.
