Formula One’s Charles Leclerc and his rare watch collection, from Richard Mille and Patek Philippe to Hublot

The recently married Ferrari driver loves a pricey watch – though he’s had one of his limited edition RMs stolen off his wrist while signing autographs
This has been a big year for Formula One driver Charles Leclerc. The 28-year-old tied the knot with girlfriend Alexandra Saint Mleux in a private ceremony in February earlier this year. Then, on June 3, Ferrari announced it had inked a deal to extend its contract with the Monégasque racing driver for the seasons to come.
“I couldn’t be happier to continue this journey with Scuderia Ferrari HP,” Leclerc said in a statement.

“Being a Ferrari driver is a dream, but it’s also a responsibility I never take for granted,” he added. “I’ll continue to give absolutely everything I have to bring this team back to where it belongs, at the very top, for everyone in Maranello [Ferrari’s hometown], and above all for the tifosi [Italian superfans], whose passion is the heartbeat of this Scuderia.”

The F1 driver – who has invested in Chrono24, the online marketplace for luxury watches – also has an impressive watch collection. Here’s a look at some of his most impressive timepieces.
Richard Mille RM67-02 Charles Leclerc

A long-time friend of the Richard Mille brand, Leclerc was given the rare honour of having a watch named after him. In 2022, he was seen sporting the RM 67-02 Charles Leclerc, a sleek prototype sportwatch featuring a case made of Quartz TPT and Carbon TPT, weighing a mere 32 grams. It’s instantly recognisable with its red-and-white palette paying homage to the Monaco flag.
Unfortunately for Leclerc, his one-of-a-kind watch – estimated to be worth upwards of US$300,000 – was stolen right off his wrist while he was signing autographs ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Italy that year.
