Zoe Kazan has set the internet abuzz after seemingly dissing Taylor Swift in a since-deleted X post, and Swifties are not having it.
“[I] think she didn’t invite her because she has come to the end of her marriage plot, thus cutting off access to her first great subject. Rather than root for her own divorce, she is generating the next chapter of interpersonal drama for herself via female friendship,” Kazan posted.
Although she didn’t name any names, Swifties believe that Kazan’s post hinted at Lively’s notable absence from Swift’s wedding.
Swift’s years-long friendship with the Gossip Girl star seems to have fallen apart in recent months, after the former’s name was dragged into Lively’s very public legal dispute with her It Ends with Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
The next day, Kazan followed up with another post – also since deleted – this time seemingly targeting Swift’s notoriously protective fandom: “[I] don’t know what’s worse, if she likes having fans be so mean in her defence or if she doesn’t and they behave this way anyway.”
