Reese Witherspoon inspired him on her set visit – and he’s in a Netflix film starring Robert Pattinson, Denzel Washington and Daisy Edgar-Jones

The first season of the Legally Blonde prequel series Elle just dropped on Amazon Prime on July 1, but it’s already wrapped filming its second season. The series explores Elle Woods’ high school years, tracing how her experiences shape the ambition and mindset that will eventually carry her to Harvard Law School.
Throughout season one, Elle (Lexi Minetree) is pulled between boundary-pushing Dustin (Zac Looker) and track star Miles (Jacob Moskovitz) – the latter being her first major crush, with whom she shared her first kiss.

So what do we know about Jacob Moskovitz, the rising star with a big role in Elle?

Moskovitz recently raved about Reese Witherspoon’s surprise appearance on the set of Elle. “We didn’t know she was coming,” the actor told the New York Post, adding that he was nonchalant when told that “Reese” was there, thinking it was their stunt coordinator by the same name.

“But no, it was Reese Witherspoon who was on set! So we went down and met her and took some photos. It was great,” Moskovitz shared.

During her visit, Witherspoon offered the cast some encouraging words of advice. “Drink water. Stay positive, stay focused. Get lots of rest and be kind,” the actor recalled.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Moskovitz’s first on-screen role was in the short film Stallion (2020). There followed episodic roles in series such as FBI: International, Magnum P.I. and See/Saw, followed by more prominent roles in the films Y2K (2024), a horror comedy, and this year’s Brian, a coming-of-age comedy.

Moskovitz is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix movie Here Comes the Flood, starring Robert Pattinson, Denzel Washington and Daisy Edgar-Jones.
