Raphael, 46, is best known for her appearances on comedy series Burning Love, Adult Swim’s live-action parody series NTSF:SD:SUV and sitcom Grace and Frankie, where she played Jane Fonda’s daughter Brianna.
She has recently voiced Fawn, a deer in Netflix’s Mating Season, who joins her forest friends in search of a partner. “Knowing you do Fawn’s voice is like the icing on the cake for me. You’re hot, she’s hot, thanks girl,” a fan commented on a snippet of the show – and Raphael shared on Instagram.
Raphael is a breast cancer advocate
Raphael is an active supporter of breast cancer awareness, spotlighting the topic on her social media. The actress also hosts The Deep Dive podcast with her best friend, actress Jessica St. Clair, where they discuss motherhood, grief and St. Clair’s journey as a breast cancer survivor.
In 2022, St. Clair shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show that during a moment of doubt about her diagnosis, Raphael sent 20 spiritual practitioners to her house to support her. St. Clair also mentioned that Raphael’s confidence in the success of her treatment really gave her “the courage to get through the rest of it”.

Raphael married actor Paul Scheer in October 2009 after they met at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Manhattan in 2004. The pair have two sons, Sam, 9, and August, 12.
