While the movie’s cast list may be a who’s who of Hollywood A-listers, it is Devyn Dalton, a stunt double in the film, who seems to have the internet’s attention.
“My double was a woman, a female stunt performer who had the greatest arms I’ve ever seen,” Damon said, explaining that she appears in the shots where the Laestrygonians, a race of man-eating giants, are seen looming over Odysseus. The scene is even used as one of the film’s posters. In the scenes, Dalton, who is 4ft 6 inches (137cm) in height, stood in for Damon and faced off with 7ft-tall stunt performers, which allowed Nolan to use practical effects instead of CGI.
