Peacock’s latest television series, The Five-Star Weekend, debuted on July 9 and is already the most popular show on the streaming platform, per Flixpatrol.

The series is an adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s 2023 eponymous novel, starring Jennifer Garner as Hollis Shaw, a food blogger struggling to cope with the loss of her husband. The show revolves around a getaway weekend to Nantucket, an island in Massachusetts, with four close friends – played by Chloë Sevigny, D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan and Regina Hall.

As Hollis navigates her grief, she reconnects with Jack, her high-school sweetheart, played by Timothy Olyphant. Garner and Olyphant also reunite as an on-screen couple for the first time since the 2006 romcom Catch and Release. Olyphant is currently in Apple TV’s Lucky starring Anya Taylor-Joy.
