With a strong eye for over-the-top and vintage-inspired looks, 28-year-old Jared Ellner is a rising talent in the world of celebrity stylists – and his client list keeps growing
The album cover for Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend – featuring the pop star in a stunning archive Dolce & Gabbana minidress – quickly sparked widespread debate. The look was styled by none other than Jared Ellner, who was also the visionary behind her wardrobe in the new “Manchild” music video.

The cover image, featuring Carpenter on all fours next to a man gripping her hair, received criticism from the public for hyper-sexualising women. In response, the artist released an alternative version she cheekily said was “approved by God”.

Ellner is no stranger to pushing boundaries. He was the mastermind behind Carpenter’s wildly successful Short n’ Sweet era wardrobe: her signature glittering heart cut-out bodysuits, the bejewelled towels opening her shows and her beloved Old Hollywood blonde curls.

The 28-year-old stylist and designer has put together looks for many big names, including Molly Gordon, Patti Harrison, Olivia Rodrigo, Rachel Sennott, Sydney Sweeney … and the list just keeps growing.

Meet the stylist turning celebrities into fashion icons.
Emma Chamberlain was his first client

The first shoot that Ellner styled by himself featured the YouTube star and businesswoman Emma Chamberlain. A year later, her publicist reached out to him to be her stylist full-time. The two hit it off instantly and are now a powerful fashion duo and very close friends.
