Who was at the Brunello Cucinelli film premiere, from Jonathan Bailey to Italian PM Giorgia Meloni

Hollywood actors Jeff Goldblum, Jessica Chastain and Chris Pine also attended the screening, held at Rome’s legendary Cinecittà Studios
Brunello, Il Visionario Garbato (Brunello: The Gracious Visionary), a film about the life and vision of Italian designer Brunello Cucinelli, premiered in Rome last night.

Directed by Oscar winner Giuseppe Tornatore, the documentary features re-enactments to showcase Cucinelli’s childhood and early days as a striving entrepreneur and designer. Another Oscar winner, Nicola Piovani, composed the soundtrack of the movie, which is out in Italy this month before being released in the US and the rest of the world next year.

In a speech before the screening, Cucinelli referred to Tornatore and Piovani as “poets”. “Poets are the first great people in humankind,” he said. “With this work, these two were able to truly enter my mind. With this film we wanted to combine knowledge, equality and harmony – the qualities [that make] a great human being.”
