Gabriella DeGasperis, better known by her Instagram handle @gabbygolfgirl, is not your average golfer. The 18-year-old content creator commands an Instagram following of over 1 million at the time of writing and has one of the fastest growing YouTube channels around where she regularly shares videos of herself playing with the sport’s heavy hitters – including former world No 1 golfer Jon Rahm – and other big names like Steph Curry.

She’s been playing since she was two

DeGasperis was born in September 2007 and has been playing golf since she was only two years old, when her parents gifted her a set of pink golf clubs. “I just fell in love with it,” DeGasperis said in an interview with Golfweek.

She started her social media page to share her passion with others. “I love the game so much,” she said. “I love that I have to put in a lot of work to get better. I love a challenge, and I love sharing that with others.”

She has a busy schedule

DeGasperis may be one of the world’s busiest teenagers, balancing her golf commitments, and social media presence as well as school work. The 18-year-old starts her day teeing off at her club and spends the rest of her day going back and forth between the course and her home for school work, according to My Golf Spy, all while making sure her Instagram and YouTube content continue to perform well.

But the youngster’s hectic routine is paying off. In the past few years, not only has DeGasperis gained recognition in the golf community, she’s also landed endorsements with golf apparel brands like TravisMathew.
