Football forward Marcus Rashford is on his way to the World Cup with the England team, but as the season comes to a close, his future at FC Barcelona after a season-long loan from Manchester United is up in the air. Luckily for him, there’s someone at his side to support him – his childhood sweetheart, Lucia Loi. Although Loi keeps a relatively private life, with her Instagram bio simply reading “It’s only Instagram”, fans of the football player still eagerly keep following her life.

Loi, 28, graduated from The Manchester Metropolitan University in 2020, where she studied advertising and brand management, per The Telegraph. Loi was quite the hardworking student, achieving first-class honours. She also took a three-week course with Harvard Business School Online.

Loi has since worked and interned at a number of companies, including Social Chain Agency, PrettyLittleThing and Sugar PR.

She has a large social media following

While Loi maintains a relatively low profile on social media, typically sharing only occasional photo dumps or videos, her lifestyle clearly centres on wellness. Though with over 132,000 followers on Instagram, she only has 11 posts as of writing, sharing anti-inflammatory recipes as well as skincare and make-up routines. She’s also posted about her dogs, whom she shares with Rashford.

Loi and Rashford have known each other since their days in secondary school, where they attended Ashton on Mersey School in Manchester. The pair have been dating since they were 15, and Loi has been by his side since he first played for Manchester United in 2016 at the age of 18. However, their love story has had its fair share of ups and downs.
