Once a panellist on Fox speaking about issues such as the trad wife trend, she is now the glam girl for figures like Lara Trump and Karoline Leavitt Riccio

Earlier this year, Adrienne Gray left her post as a Fox News political commentator to pursue her passion – make-up. She has become the go‑to glam artist for US President Donald Trump’s leading ladies, from Lara Trump, wife of Donald’s third child Eric Trump, to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt Riccio. Instead of wielding media influence, she now shapes the faces that front America’s conservative movement, sculpting an aesthetic commonly known as the Mar-a-Lago face.

Here’s everything you need to know about Adrienne Gray and her connection to Maga’s most visible figures.

As a regular panellist on Fox News, Gray, 37, was known for sparring with other commentators on air about motherhood and politics. In her Fox 5 DC appearance, she pushed back against the rising “trad wife” trend and defended modern motherhood, urging the inclusion of working mothers in America in the conversation. “I think labelling … the feminist versus the trad wife is very troubling for our culture,” she said.

However, this year, Gray found herself drawn back to her first love: beauty. “I wasn’t looking to become something new,” she told The Conservateur about her make-up career. “I was looking to come back to something that always felt natural to me.” Per the Daily Mail, Gray had always been interested in make-up, studying art in college and even working as a wedding make-up artist after graduation, but pursuing a media career instead.

Her recognition skyrocketed when she became the trusted make-up artist for Lara Trump and Karoline Leavitt Riccio – two of the most visible women in Donald Trump’s orbit. Gray was responsible for Lara’s look during the White House State Dinner this April, a formal event honouring King Charles and Queen Camilla. The two women have also since become friends. “We have this trusting relationship where even if the train is moving, [she knows I] will deliver the level of glam she needs to feel confident,” she told the Daily Mail.

And she meant that literally. Given Lara Trump’s hectic schedule, Gray has worked with her in various challenging settings, including a moving train. She has a mobile make-up kit that allows her to deliver “full glam in under 20 minutes”, per The Conservateur. “Public figures don’t just need glam, they need someone who understands the pressure, the timing, and the level of discretion required,” she said.
