Peek inside the US$56 million Beverly Hills home once owned by Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt

- The former star couple spent three years renovating the four-bedroom property, but lived in it for less than two years before selling it after their divorce
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's former home in Beverly Hills, California, is for sale for US$56 million, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The current owner, Jonathan Brooks, a hedge fund executive who founded Smithwood Partners, bought the home after the actress and actor were divorced in 2006.
Aniston and Pitt had bought the 12,000-square-foot (1,115 square-metre) house for US$13.1 million in 2001 from the entertainment lawyer Ken Ziffren and then spent three years renovating it.
They added features including heated marble floors in the kitchen and a bar room with wooden floors imported from a 200-year-old French castle.
The home, described by reports as a “French Normandy Revival property”, has four bedrooms and comes with a swimming pool, a large outdoor space and a tennis court. The property agent is Susan Smith of Hilton & Hyland.
The house is situated in one of Los Angeles’ most upmarket neighbourhoods.
The area, beloved by celebrities, is about 11 miles (17km) from the city centre and 13 miles from Los Angeles International Airport.
