Piaget launches sun-inspired high jewellery and watches collection
The ‘Sunlight Journey’ collection comprises three parts – dawn, midday and evening
Amid a starry crowd that boasted Juliette Binoche, Coco Rocha, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, Piaget launched its newest high jewellery and watches collection in Rome this week.
At its launch, the collection was displayed in the Villa Aurelia, dated 1650, and was celebrated with a gala event for VIPs and global media at Cinecittà Studios.
Titled “Sunlight Journey”, the collection is Piaget’s fourth sun-inspired collection, following “Mediterranean Garden”, “Secrets and Lights” and “Sunny Side of Life”.
Inspired by Italy’s Amalfi Coast, the collection comprises three parts that track the dawn, midday and evening sky.

Reflecting the dawn, the collection’s Sand Waves Watch is set on an 18ct pink gold cuff and set with 428 brilliant-cut diamonds. It’s secret cover is set with a white opal, and it has a white mother-of-pearl dial.
Mirroring the bright light of noon, the 18ct white gold Celestial Blue Necklace is set with a blue sapphire and diamonds, with a touch of feather marquetry.
