Since its launch in 2004, Boucheron’s Quatre collection has quickly established itself as one of the French maison’s most iconic creations – and not just because it is great for layering. The playful collection represents the maison’s commitment to showcasing the multifaceted beauty of its wearer.
Now, Boucheron introduces its newest edition of the timeless collection – the Quatre Red Edition, which uses red ceramic for the first time. Available as a ring and a pendant, the Red Edition highlights self-expression, power and freedom. In China, red is also the colour of happiness and vitality, giving this edition an added layer of complexity and sophistication.
The Quatre Red Edition features four bands with the “Cloud de Paris” motif in a vibrant red Hyceramic. It is complemented with a pink gold “Godron” band, symbolising eternal love, and a yellow gold “Grosgrain” motif that pays homage to Frédéric Boucheron, the maison’s founder. Diamonds set in white gold gives the Red Edition extra finesse.
Boucheron once again tapped Chinese actress and Golden Horse Award winner Zhou Dongyu as the face of the Quatre collection. She previously fronted two “Every single face forms me” campaigns for the brand, where she showcased her own unique take on sensitivity, intensity, passion and freedom – which are the four pillars of the Quatre collection.
Zhou, who is the brand ambassador, is best known for her versatile portfolio and is lauded for her roles in Under the Hawthorn Tree (2010), and Soul Mate (2016) for which she won a Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress. Most recently, she starred in the film Us and Them (2018) alongside Jing Boran. She has also taken on a starring role in an upcoming fantasy film titled Kung Fu Monster alongside Hong Kong veteran actor Louis Koo. The film will be released in December this year.
