Mikael Wallhagen, head of Sotheby's watches department in Geneva, said: “We're very pleased with the results of the auction, which saw every lot in the Top 10 sell above pre-sale estimates, and 86 per cent of lots sold overall.”
Sotheby's offers watch auctions in various locations, including Dubai, New York and London, with its online watch auctions featuring 16th- to 21st-century timepieces, alongside other accessories.
