Richard Mille gets colourful with Bonbon wrist candy collection
Sweets and Fruit lines are available
Richard Mille is bringing a pop of colour to your wrist with its new Bonbon collection, comprising 10 models each produced in a limited edition of 30 pieces.
With Cécile Guenat as the artistic director for the unisex collection, the watches come in a palette of 60 colours. Two lines are available: Fruit and Sweets. The design of the Bonbon collection is based on three of the brand’s iconic models, RM 07-03, RM 16-01 and RM 37-01, which have been given a colourful update.
The Sweets line comprises four models: Cupcake (RM 07-03), Marshmallow (RM 07-03), Sucette (RM 37-01) and Réglisse (RM 16-01). For the Réglisse, the surface of the dial shows off a giant roll of black licorice, created through a stamping procedure and a black chrome coating.
The Fruit collection consists of six novelties: Lemon (RM 16-01) and Strawberry (RM 16-01), Blueberry (RM 07-03), Litchi (RM 07-03), Kiwi (RM 37-01) and Cherry (RM 37-01). After being painted in acrylic and lacquered by hand, a “sugar coating” effect is achieved using powdered enamel and fine sand.
