Apple have unveiled a brand new Apple Watch – and, finally, this one will always tell you the time.
The Apple Watch Series 5 was revealed to the world on September 10 during the American technology company’s annual event in California.

And in a noteworthy development, this is the first Apple Watch to feature an “always-on display” – which means the screen will always be turned on for quick glances when you want to check that thing called, the time.

Apple said it has managed to keep the Apple Watch’s 18-hour battery life even with the new always-on display.
This is thanks to the power-efficient, low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (or LTPO) display, which can vary its refresh rate from 1 hertz to 60 hertz, the company said.
The price of the Apple Watch Series 5 will start at US$400 for the GPS models and US$500 for the cellular models
The Apple Watch Series 5 also has better sensors and power management, it said.
Apple has added a compass app and functionality to the Apple Watch Series 5, too.
The new watches will support international emergency calling, could save lives when faced with an emergency while abroad.

Apple also revealed new options for the Apple Watch Series 5, including a model with a titanium case in silver and brushed black, as well as a white ceramic option.
