INFOGRAPHIC: How does Southeast Asia perform in the internet speed race?

New data shows that Singapore and Thailand offer some of the fastest net speeds in Southeast Asia

A new infographic has revealed that Singapore is the king of internet speed in Southeast Asia, with speeds of 61 Mbps.
The graphic, released by data analysis company ASEAN DNA, shows that Thailand comes up second as the fastest internet hub in Southeast Asia, with speeds of 17.7 Mbps.

The region's average internet speed is currently 12.4 Mbps, slightly behind the average global speed of 17.5 Mbps.

China, the United States and Japan are both included on the graphic for compaison, and boast internet speeds of 18.3 Mbps, 22.3 Mbps and 41.7 Mbps respectively.
