South Korean team designs ‘flying cart’ to overhaul shopping experience
Engineers at South Korea’s Seoul National University of Science and Technology have developed a “flying cart” they hope will change how people shop.
The new aerial cargo transport platform is called “Palletrone” – a combination of words for cargo “pallet” and multirotor “drone”.
The device can be controlled using gentle force, remaining stable and floating above the ground even as it moves up stairways.
