Coronavirus: North Korea touts ‘Koryo’ traditional medicine to fight Covid-19 as critics cast doubts

  • North Korean state media has been churning out stories about the supposed effectiveness of traditional herbal medicine in dealing with the coronavirus
  • Practitioners say it ‘isn’t a bad option’ for treating mild symptoms, but add that the North ‘can’t help others who are dying’ without modern medicine
