Japanese companies have built what they call the world’s first 3D-printed railway station. The compact, white, curved-roof structure was installed in a rural region of western Japan.

The assembly process began after the last train left Arita, a station in the Wakayama region, at about midnight. The process was finished before the first scheduled train at about 5am.
